This is a copy & paste of an email I sent to writer B.Oliver of ItG after the Li Wenwen WWC article:

Tatiana Kashirina recently competed within Russia in September and
October 2022, but has dropped body weight compared to the past. It's
not currently known whether she will gain back to 100+ again or not.
In September she did 120+140 (150x) at 85.5 kg.
In October she did 122+153 at unknown BW (but 87+ category).

Tatiana Kashirina perhaps back as an 87kg lifter? (Sept/Oct '22)
Re: Tatiana Kashirina perhaps back as an 87kg lifter? (Sept/Oct '22)
I saw this earlier in the year as it happened.
I do know Kashirina was coaching some people previously but with these numbers it's unclear as to whether she wants to make a serious push as an athlete, with 87 being non-Olympic and all that. She absolutely could be a top 87, but I don't know if she cares about that.

If she could make 81kg that would make for a very very interesting class - even more so than it already is.

She would have to compete 5 times too though.

Interesting to see Tatiana compete at 85ish. If she could do 270@81, she would be on the podium I think.
I did read that RUSADA pulled their provisional suspension of her some time ago.
I know the IOC is contemplating letting Russian athletes compete in the Olympics as athletes not attached to Russia.
But unless the IWF allows Russia to compete at Worlds and the WorldCup, they wouldn't be able to get through the qualifications.

She will compete as an 87 at the Russian Cup in February (page 3):

I doubt she'll go SHW again (internationally).

87 is a good category for her without drugs.
Re: Tatiana Kashirina perhaps back as an 87kg lifter? (Sept/Oct '22)
I wonder if she seriously considered, or if she had any offers from other countries to switch citizenship? Because the obvious problem for her now is being able to lift in an international competition.
That actually makes me think, have we ever seen Russian lifters switch countries?
If she can make 81kg and lift like that it would make that class one of the most interesting in the sport.

(In-)famously Podobedova during her first suspension, came back as Kazakh in 2009 to win the WWC.
I get the impression that Russian lifters want to enter as independent athletes or representing the RFWF (not "Russia").
