He joined the ZSU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) at the start of the war, so unfortunately dying in combat was a foreseeable consequence (though no less tragic). Politicians and militaries.

John McNiven (born 1935) from Scotland passed recently. He represented Scotland at various international events and was highly involved in Masters weightlifting.

'Mikhail Savov has died
Mikhail Savov, a longtime weightlifting coach, organizer and sportsman, died on September 7, at the age of 78. Bat Misho, as his competitors have called it during the years of his active career, has worked with the most famous personalities in the sport, such as Ivan Abadzhiev, whom he is an assistant on the national team, Anton Kodzhabashev, Stefan Botev, Nedelcho Kolev and others.
Savov is also a co-founder of the Power Triathlon Federation, together with Hristo Meranzov. He has been honored with numerous awards and plaques over the years, which shows his great love for the barbells and the sport.
The funeral will take place on September 10 at 1 pm. temple "St. Dimitar", at the address kv. "Hadji Dimitar", st. Vasil Petleshkov 70.'
