Z. Haiqin confirmed her potential finally, as she did 130 c/j years ago. Unfortunately she looks too tall for 53...

Abdullah INA bangs out WRs even for comps he otherwise doesn't care for (snatch attempts). Strange but likeable approach to competing.

Women's 59 results not updated on the AWF results site. The first 55 incorrectly links to the 49 results page, the 2nd links to 55s. 103 snatch from the North Korean was good, a little sad not to see an attempt at 105 WR.

Li Dayin will have a tough choice to make regarding 79 or 94 in the likely case that 88 gets removed. 94 is probably better in my opinion, cutting down to 79 would exacerbate the problems he had at 81. Better off gambling that Nasar has an injury than trying to beat a superior Indonesian (or hoping that one of them would get injured).

Kuo Hsing-Chun squat jerking is either sign of an injury or she's getting deported to the mainland. Her dip and drive style and shoulder lock aren't suited to the squat jerk IMO but that may just be a teething issue as she adjusts to it. She's doing well to still be competing after a long and illustrious career.

126 is right around my expectation for her. I remember seeing the 130 back in 2022 (at 17y/o!), haven't quite seen her at the same level since.

It's nice to have entertaining characters in the sport. As long as having fun doesn't ruin the purity of the sport, of course.

If you told me Jiang Yujia was the daughter/sister of Kang Yue I would 100% believe it.
