Liu Huanhua surprised me, I expected 190 to be an absolute limit on the snatch but it appears like it can be a consistent 3rd attempt or somewhat reasonable second attempt. Catching the bounce on the 230 was beautiful and I hope to see him make that an opening attempt in the future. I do not think he can keep pace with Akbar on the snatch (whom I suspect will raise the record to 200+ soon), but I think we may see some solid attempts with 240+ from him and Akbar in the future, possibly this fall.

150 snatch makes her the 2nd to ever do it as far as I know? The other closest would be Zhou Lulu 148.

ATM, I think Pei and Yang Liuyue are equal for the total with Pei better in the c&j and Yang in the snatch. I can see the latter progressing to 115+140 at 61 while Pei seems maxed out at 250.

Both Li WW and Zhou LL snatched 148. I think Li Yan is the only one to do (exactly) 150.

I'd like to know Liao's bw, seems like they just put her in 86 full time since it's an easier class? Dunno...

BTW, men were also competing in this but no "Chinese results". Liu did 175+210.

Best guess wrt Liao is avoiding Reeves at 77, Song at 69.
Koanda 86 is credible competition but I can see Liao beating her. There's no single easiest choice IMO

I just saw that Lopez COL snatched 182@88 because the PanAm fed thought the WR was 181... nope.
And this happened a few days ago in August, M88 was already obsolete at that point.
