Athletes/coaches, always. Pigs do as pigs have done, although they have recently taken the unprecedented action of showering off their shit since a few years ago. As Brian Oliver says, there are still lots of issues but thankfully it's much better now than it ever has been in the past. This does not of course mean that there isn't ample room for improvement; the IWF has advanced to the Victorian age from the dinosaur age.

I am, as usual, suspect of the new ItG team since it was bought out. I have had it privately confirmed that some previous details of the similar story some months back were untrue and/or extremely misrepresented. This smells to me of sour grapes regarding a loss of political power/influence on the board, rather than a well intentioned tell-all. Sometimes the things that someone doesn't (chooses not to) say speaks louder than what is said.

Interesting, with everything going on in Venezuela today, I notice that at some time in the last few weeks the location for 2026 Pan Ams has gone from Isla Margarita Venezuela to Panama.

They can compete under the neutral flag, after vetting they're not connected to the military (or CIA, etc.).

Careful there, you might get beaten and arrested for humanizing the people of the third world. People like me are not meant to be human. You might be lucky though, at least you're not a teenage girl.

A light hearted poke at recent news out of his country, and a recognition of how my people were treated in the past and will be treated in future.
In other news, this post gives, in my opinion, more circumstantial evidence regarding this being a cynical attempt to regain power from Adamfi rather than any meaningful, accurate and good faith criticism.
