Competition days: November 10-20 in Guangdong province, China.
According to their site* all 10+10 (old) categories will be contested. Everyone from the Paris Olympics qualified automatically, others needed a ranked total from 2024-25.
Why the old categories? This is a large multi sport event which means it was planned years ago and no bureaucracy likes short term fiddling.
Preliminary entries include:
M61: Li Fabin, Wang Hao
M67: He Yueji, Chen Lijun
M73: Shi Zhiyong (in theory)
M89: Pan Yunhua, Li Dayin
M96: Tian Tao
M102: Liu Huanhua
M109: Yang Zhe (tries to win his 5th! NG)
W45: Zhao Jinlan, Zhao Jinhong
W49: Hou Zhihui, Jiang Huihua, Xiang Linxiang
W59: Luo Shifang, Pei Xinyi
W71: Yang Qiuxia
W76: Liao Guifang
W81: Liang Xiaomei, Peng Cuiting
W87+: Li Wenwen, Li Yan
I will update the above once the start book PDFs are out.
Streams will be CCTV5/CCTV5+ but probably not every class as there are other sports going on simultaneously. Video will probably be on YT by one of the CHN WL channels. If not, I will try to get hold of them.

Nice, thanks!
Re: 2025 National Games of China (November)
Thank you for making the thread, I was about to ask you to make it in the WWC one.
It'll be good if we can archive these VODs/results given what happened with the Shaanxi 2021 website. I'll try to contact a friend in China to see if he can get some recordings.

Re: 2025 National Games of China (November)
Entries for women are final, no absentees as far as I can tell (men will be final on the 15th).
Streams will be on CCTV5/CCTV5+/CCTV16
https://yibababa.com/tv/cctv5/
Their site also has a live scoreboard, e.g. for W45 which starts now (click around for other classes):

Re: 2025 National Games of China (November)
Zhao Jinhong 106 jerk save was absurd, probably the coolest save I've seen this year. It would have been nice to see her make 109 to push her sister a bit more. Both clearly outstanding in the 45s.
Chen Yarou was robbed on her 87 3rd snatch. WWC refereeing kills momentum, so China goes stricter. Chen's clean and jerks were weird, 105 looked like spooky misses capable of 108 and then her third looked limit in terms of overhead shakiness.

Re: 2025 National Games of China (November)
Replays are on CCTV, but not on YT or any other easily accessible site YET. However, I will wait a day or two before getting a VPN since perhaps this will change.
Yeah, wtf was that. Refs slavishly follow the foolish IWF lead. Also the girl with the long sleeves was judged way too harsh.
Re: 2025 National Games of China (November)
W49 scoreboard is totally nonsensical e.g. HOU Zhihui 3rd attempt lower than 2nd (90, 93x, 88 shown when final attempt was 93 make). Seemed to me like she opened on 110 and made it for a 203 total?
