• TOMARI Kotaro JPN snatch/total JWR is impressive for a lifter only 4 years into the sport. Simoneau,
• As previously discussed, China's junior depth is no longer what it once was. Admittedly, somewhat biased due to the preparations for the Asians and CNG.
• I have a feeling we'll see two or three of these lifters taking continental slots or equivalent at LA28.

Singapore Weightlifting International/SEA Championships

Ricko Saputra looks in great shape, 127+160 at M60. Saw the mythical Vietnamese lifter who makes all lifts. No super notable performances otherwise from memory.

Rizki Juniansyah competed as an 88 (edit: 81.45) doing 150/190, 5/5 (passed on 3rd snatch) and takes 1st place over Mohammad Syahmi Nor Ghazali MAS (148/190, 6/6).
Looks like he's just coming back into training and shaking off the cobwebs. Unless there's a video, I think it's more likely the "180 off blocks" was a snatch balance done between blocks for fun.

Deni snatched 130, jerked 155 which is pretty good for a retiree. Unfortunately seemed to strain his adductor magnus.

No, but the stream is usually on youtube and typically pretty good at putting up the scoreboard intermittently + at the end of the session. I usually just screenshot the scoreboard instead of watching the lifting.

Spain are really developing the sport domestically right now. This event follows Junior Worlds last year where they were doing a lot with coach and Technical Official development. Great to see.
