Subjectively the Chinese women (Hou, Li excepted) national team look worse in general. The elbow issues sustained previously could be a contributing factor, but I think their pulling power in general looks worse, meaning that lighter weights cause more stress and impact on the elbow.
Li has never been particularly connected in her squat snatches, hence missing 120 when warming up to snatch 140+. Same with Shi.
